Add Sumeru Unique 501 to clean water mix thoroughly until lump free mortar is obtained. A Sumeru Unique 501is a 20kg bag will require approx. 5-6 litres of water to obtain lump free consistency. The adhesive is immediately ready for use. Where mixing by weight is not possible, volume mixing can be carried out at site in the ratio of 26% -28% or (1 water: 3 powder) of water by volume of material. Do not attempt to extend the pot life by adding more water to the mix.

Comb the adhesive to the required depth using a suitable square notch trowel. Choose a typical notched trowel with sufficient depth to achieve > 80%. Mortar Contact to both tile and substrate for all interior applications and >90% for exterior installations. Leave no voids behind tiles, with pressure, apply a coat by using the trowels flat side to key mortar into substrate. If adhesive is skinned over (not sticky) remove and replace with fresh adhesive or premix.

Limitation of application Sumeru Unique 501 shall not be applied in the following cases:
On metal surfaces and wood
